Operation Star

Last night Doncaster East NPT took part in Operation Star to tackle the ongoing issue of Off road bikes and wildlife crime.

We were joined by the SYP Off road bike team and the Road Policing group.

We continue to receive reports regarding the antisocial use of motorbikes in areas such as parks and playing fields. Using our specialist teams were were able to make a real impact on this last night.

The operation clearly had an effect as we seized a number of motorbikes and found our usual suspects walking the streets for a change.

The large blue motorbike was seized in Thorne after the rider abandoned it on seeing our off road Police bikes. The motorbike was examined and found to be stolen.

The small electric scooter was seized for no insurance due to it being ridden at speed along Station Road, Dunscroft. 

Finally the small blue motorbike was seized from Sandall Beat woods after being located by the Police off road bikes.
